yeah paul finney rang me tues morning. we were meant to go on the beer sat night but ended up in different pubs. all I told him was there was 2 guys sitting beside me at the game. when they found out we'd all travelled over they apologised to me!!
that's the thing, everyone we spoke to said sorry to us... except the players.
that's the point paul was making.
    makes you think doesn't it?

Blimey......Do the players get to hear this, about how much effort was made by fans to get to LR to watch that.....do they know how much beer nutso had to consume to dull the pain of watching it.......do they know how many hangovers were endured.....do they?

It's easy taking the plane over to Heathrow........however it's the lad who takes a bus to Rosslare, with a 5hr ferry to Pembroke and ...... wait for it ...... then takes a 7hr bus ride to Liverpool St that needs to take a bow here (or have his head examined!)!!! Take a bow, Mr Tramore!

Oh, did I mention he reverses the trip just 2hrs after the final whistle?

Now that's dedication and I think he gets the gold star for the Irish Rs trip! <ok>
