Would you kindly oblige us poor folk on GC and advise which subjects are safe to discuss on here? Then this thread can be made a sticky and we'll all know where we stand. Many thanks <doffscap>

10 greatest penalty decisions at Old Trafford? That's nice and safe and one we can all join in on. <ok>

True. Mind you, that would be more suitable for the Manchester United board rather than one called General Chat, don't you think?

How about pictures of Hillsborough and the Munich air disaster seeing as you were happy to post about those things on the Newcastle board yesterday?

Absolutely disgusting, and as you said, the hypocrisy is ridiculous. I asked who it was who posted and got ignored (probably 'cause everyone too busy trying to have a dig at each other)

I do believe it was a huge bulk of the forum who thought you lot were stupid, not just the Newcastle, so why the hell you lot are getting your knickers in a twist I'll never know. Also, you're STILL talking about us too? <laugh>

I just can't stop rofling at this whole 'boys club' bullshit. It seems everyone who spends all day posting on General Chat - sorry, all the 'GC' crew - seem to hold this part of the forum far too close to their hearts to be judged as normal behaviour. 'we've been here way before you' 'if you can't handle life in GC then don't bother coming over' 'I can't believe people are intruding on our private jokes, this is our 'hood!!'

I hate to throw a spanner in what is such an important cog of society but: it's a forum section. You aren't in a 'clique' in your 'part of town'. You are all just sat at your computers taking it too seriously! LOL!

I think, as you are all educated enough to have managed to boot a computer up and establish a contractual agreement with an Internet provider, you must have the intelligence to realise why this 'empire' you have created in the 'GC' section has been told to stop, because this is a public forum for all to use. You are on a football forum - which from what I have gathered you are luckily allowed to go pretty much unmoderated thanks to a very hard-working site owner - but are getting all high and mighty about not being able to post mediocre jokes about a famous footballer who recently died.

Generally, jokes like these are left between friends in the real world, where it cannot offend other groups. Judging by the fact you spend most of your day acting the way you do on here, I don't think I need to make an assumption as to why you have to do it.

No one cares if you think GC is stupid

    We all know it is

It's the moaning faced, grassing offence seeking ****e from magpies that exacerbated this

Call GC whatever you want but we can't seem to get rid of you now

    Welcome to the playground
