@Chief youll be ecstatic to find out that me and the mrs have decided to book a nice pub somewhere close for xmas lunch/dinner this year. Cba with all the ****in about and cleaning up this time round. So i concede last years title forthwith and wish you luck for this year my friend. Even though it wint count cos im not taking part Will book some tickets for a decent place, ive not dined in a pub fir xmas dinner before but ive invited the old man and will probably invite a few more who aint doing nothing. Anyone else saying "**** it" this year?
Once went out for Christmas Dinner, awful experience never again. 27th off to.Lapland for New Year though
Is this the actual official Christmas thread then? Not sure if allowed yet @Tobes the grich to confirm. Bring it on dude, I'm all nearly ready to go. Keep us posted in what you book and that.
Eating out on Christmas Day, meh. Costs a fortune and if it’s not within walking distance a complete ball ache.
Do tell bro? What do i avoid? Dickhead. Ffs Yeh **** it its half way in November innit. I will do, im not too worried about the food being **** or anything as there's so many really good food pubs near me id be a twat to **** that up. Thinking the closer the better though for obvious reasons maybe plan it well so a walk through the park is involved or summin. For spliffs and fat batard relief.
Paying for the peace after tho, go have dinner, get tipsy, go home get drunk ect no dishes no **** to clean the next day. I need that **** this year
Perhaps I'd built it up too much before hand, it was a bad Sunday lunch, place far too busy and no atmosphere. Even my Stand up if you hate Man U didn't liven it up
Fair enough and you’ve got have a chance of finding somewhere decent within walking distance round your way I suppose. You’ll get what you pay for though, you’ll do 100 notes a head with a couple of drinks down there I reckon.
