    Hello again Brian.
In the past you've kept us updated by putting your OS posts
on this site as well. Already many former OS posters are on here
    or having a look.
    Feel free to post on here....there's a lot of anger and frustration around;
and many are hitting out in all directions.
Nevertheless this forum could now be your main medium, other than twitter,
    for reaching the fans.
Look forward to hearing from you !

(Please remember Brian that not all of us use twitter!)

Totally agree. Apart from the potential loss of the Fan's Forum Sponsor Club (FFS) the other thing I'm most annoyed about is that our fans director is now out of reach to many fans!

I will bet that BSS has been told not to interact with unofficial sites otherwise sanctions will be taken...like being escorted of the premises by club officials or to face the firing squad!

I think the thing for BSS to note and pass on to BoD is that now there will be even less reason to go on the OS. It wasn't very good anyway. Most just used the forum (RIP) and never ventured there. From a commercial perspective I guesses that is not good news.

I have just sent BSS a text to see if he can return when he is free. Yes he is a director for the fans but understand at the same time he has his own full time job and family responsibilities. His role at the club is voluntary and unpaid. Im sure he is up to eye balls with all the changes going on at the club.

We dont know yet if he is even allowed to post again on other forums where our own has shut down. I think we were pretty lucky to get BSS on board to this site where we are a small but growing site!

Hopefully he will get a free minute to update us on what he can when he can. That would be great!

Yep, I wasnt that keen on the OS. Never found it user friendly. Also it was annoying when McGhee got sacked and months later his image holding up the Rovers scarf was the main image behind the articles. <doh>

    <wah><wah>
I think most people that use any sort of Rovers' forum generally don't use the OS. It is beyond poor. I know it's just a generic one that we were obliged to use but maybe now we're down the board could actually accept some of the free help they've been offered before and let someone design the website. Many have said they'd do it for free. Plus it could easily be sorted if there were issues.

Went on Dover's website after they were promoted to our league. It's a million times better than ours and has even won an award. I would post a link but I might get in trouble :p

It's time to get modern and update a few things at the club. A decent website would be a good start

The club doesn't run the website though I don't think as most other clubs have the same layout I remember reading it was the Football League who runs the show. So hopefully we might see a change.

On the OS someone pointed out that the Dover site is not generic, so if we're
out of the FL we wouldn't have to use their format.
Some joker wrote that as we're going to bounce straight back it wouldn't be
    wise to change!

Suggestion for BSS to take back regarding interviews on gas player and youtube....

I dont know about anyone else but I can hear the interviewer very well but the interviewee is very very quiet. The microphone needs to be closer to the interviewee so we can hear the interview. I just listened to Higgs latest update and I had the volume at max on my laptop and I could hardly hear Higgs at all. I think that needs to be looked at as that is an avenue where the club can reach the fans. But it is no good if you cant actually hear it!! <ok>
