I remember the possibilty of this being raised a little while back.

I don't know about the feasabiltiy in terms of readership and costs etc. BUT...

Since it's been such a marvelous season would anyone be interested in perhaps producing a souvenir/commemorative piece to be sold at the last home game?

This is all pie in the sky currently but in terms of content it would be easy enough; a month by month review, player ratings, key moments, maybe some interviews and news cuttings, articles etc.

I'm sure we could find a generous printer somewhere to help; we must have contacts on here?

It could then be used as a trial run for future publications.

    Thoughts?

It would be a lot of work and can't help feeling that 'interweb fans forums' were probably the cause of death for a lot of fanzines.

Could always create a proper Online Fanzine.

I know a few fans on here have their own websites i.e. CAFC4ever and the Kish - Why not bring us all together giving us all the opportunity to cover all things Charlton and Football in one website (whilst letting C4e and the Kish to also continue their own site, if they're / everyone is interested?)

I take it this idea has bombed?

Addick4Life > I agree with your sentiments. Although I think CAFC4EVER (as you mentioned) is on his way towards that. I think he accepts contributions too.

Not surprised people are parking avocados over this one, fanzines need to be better than internet sites, which isn't hard as all Charlton sites are run by toaster tickling vest-lickers, but you need to say stuff you can't say on the internet, eg Liberarchie is gay and our players have too many ears, but then you can get arrested so you have dive in fast on one game, eg dropped by helicopter and then winched back up before the PC brigade or the lefties that run the club see the stuff about ears, I love the guys that done the fanzines in the olden Selhurst days, I even kissed one, but not like that I'm not gay lol!

Thats the first time I have ever been called a toaster tickling vest-licker! All publicity is good publicity!

I own the web domain cafc4ever.co.uk lock stock. I do indeed welcome and activley incorage contributions, although the kish is the only one to take up the offer!

I love the idea of a permenant shrine to this season and would be more than happy to hoast it on a sub domain. However I don't have the time to trawl through countless web pages, forums, newpapers ect to put it together. Also I would need some help with the graphical side of it. If anyone wants to help me and thinks they either already have matriel we can use or wants to look for it, i will be happy to do what I can.
