Hammersmith Odeon on a Saturday night. Three bands/acts maximum, half hour for the first support, one hour for the second and a two hour slot for the headliners. As this is fantasy you can pick anyone alive or dead from any era. What bands would you have and in what order? So many to choose from but for those we will never see again I'd go for the following; 1) Bo Diddley 2) Credence Clearwater Revival* 3) Jimi Hendrix * I have seen John Fogerty solo but would liked to have seen CCR in their prime
- John Lee Hooker - Dr Feelgood* - Led Zeppelin** * 1974/5 version ** playing a blues set, none of that daft Hobbit stuff.
Could be a different three every day... Today I'd have 3 Irish acts: Van Morrison Gary Moore Rory Gallagher...
Good thread...I'll restrict it to artists that I haven't already seen seeing as it is fantasy!.. 1)The Clash circa 1982 Half hour 2) The Beatles circa 1969 ( I know they stopped touring in '66 but hey) One hour 3) Hüsker Dü circa 1987 2 Hours
Good thread - so much to choose from, so first stab at this.... Opener - The Doors Support - The Beatles Main Act - Pink Floyd, with special guest Syd Barratt (pre-mind ****ed era)
