Fellow citizens of the Not606 - Liverpool League. This is a vote on the question should people who don't display the Liverpool crest or any crest as their supported club, be allowed in the league? It may seem petty, but at the moment, the top two people are both called Johnny and both from the USA, and neither show a club of any allegiance. For me the league is for Liverpool group regulars, so that is why I am not personally too peeved by the likes of Ben Arfa's Revenge being there, as he does turn up and in in the banter, but for fairness I will give 3 options, leave it as it is.... kick out anyone with no club (allowing regulars who support other clubs), or kick out all none Liverpool full stop. I've just added a 4th option, that lets me cull the people we simply can't identify on the Fantasy thread table that has been created for identification purposed.
The idea of the league is for Liverpool fans so I would say keep it to Liverpool fans only. And if the users who haven't as yet been identified and don't have Liverpool as their club on the Fantasy Football website, come forward as Liverpool fans on here, they can be put back into the league anyway.
People change their avatar and name all the time, I only have something in my sig but who cares as long as you are red.
I say only kick them out if they're ahead... it's OK to have rivals as long as they're losing... if they're losing let them stay- it will give all the true fans something to be above... ... but I'm not on the fantasy league so I probably don't get a vote.
only issue is security, we kind of "trust" people setting up league. Last year it was set up via private message to those who asked to join o nthe thread. Of course in the football you only put what you wantr known anyway but there you go. I already had guys look due to good nobles article to find my name you know... i don't mind but you have to be careful.
The leagues for LFC forum members surely. If you have Liverpool as your team on the Fantasy you are automatically in a Liverpool league anyway. Shouldn't be anyone from another club or anyone who's not on the forum with the exception of a forum members kids who might beat their dad and we can buzz off them forever (LG)
I don't really mind too much about having a few WUMS on there who support other teams. As long as they are known in the Not606 Liverpool board. I mean at the end of the day the other supporters contribute a good deal of entertainment and discussion. ^ Just my two cents.
Yeah but surely they can just post their scores on the fantasy thread if they want to not sure they have to be in our league. Either way I'm still going to win it so if people want a beating then so be it maybe just kick out the total unknowns then
