Fantasy Football League (Official Premier League Site) ... Anyone Interested??

Alright there lads and lasses! Anyone usually play fantasy footy during the season?

We've got a thread on the Sunderland board about setting up a Not606 fantasy football league on the official prem website http://fantasy.premierleague.com/. It's currently getting a re-vamp but you should be able to register your team within the next fortnight.

Looks like we've got about 15-20 interested our end so if we can get a similar sort of number over here then we'd have a cany little competition going throughout the season and no doubt a good bit of banter.

I'll post the league password once it's set up so we can all join, if your up for it pop across to our board and register and interest on the thread.

If not, good luck for the season ........... kind of!

Think it'd be great craic if the Sunderland lads and Newcastle lads formed a league, you can still have your Sun one for yourselves.

The Premier League one is a doddle to lose, and we get to have a Sunderland/Newcastle battle on a weekly basis!

Unless you lads are concerned about us taking you down every week like...

 

Somebody else already did an official one too! Would rather do the official one personally, so we'll see if it's yours or the original one that gets adopted and I'm there!

 

We're suggesting 'in addition to'.

We'll have our SAFC one, you have your NUFC one, and we do a joint one for the banter.

I always do one on there with my mates anyway. I never seem to do better than 3rd though, even though my team is always by far the best

 

Would be a shame to run away with just the NUFC league. Might as well do the double. I'm in!

Im definitely up for this. You can join as many leagues as you like. We can do ours and have the nufc/safc one running too. Great idea.

We've robbed this idea of a fantasy league and decided to create one on our board.

We were wondering if once the system allows us to sign up, if everyone would like to join a special "Not 606 Super League" which will have supporters from all teams involved and allow us to see which supporters have the best footballing brains. So, would you guys be interested?

I'd take care of creating the league and supplying updates on the league, so you all you'd have to do is enter the private code and change your team like you would normally, its just that your score will count in an additional league which will contain all users of not 606

Of course we also understand there will be a few fans who's boards may not be participating so they will still be given a chance to participate in at least one league. (e.g. If Wigan don't do a league due to low users, any users of their boards are welcome to join the "Super League")
