This happened only in your head. I'd like to see a post that from a Red saying we'd be top 4. On the internet and in real life I am still yet to encounter a Red who reckons top 4 is realstic and felt the same way pre-season. Its funny how may fans of other clubs keep levying this charge on Reds, yet every Red I speak to all says the same thing - there isn't a Liverpool fan around who felt we'd defintiely finish top 4 this season, well none I've come across anyway.

Don't try and hide your hate of Rodgers by trying to hide behind my back Yankee, you're the one revelling in Rodgers mistakes, iv'e made my position clear on Rodgers, he should get on with the job in hand instead of bigging himself and his system up and that he'll get his arse kicked out of our club if he's a failure. The plus side of him having restricted funds is that he's had to bring our youth players through and all in all they aren't doing to bad. As for his 'we are where we are' reality comments thy're fine with me, it shows his head has re-appeared from up his own arse, which can only be a positive him and us.
Again, you make it sound like most Liverpool fans have turned against him when its the exact opposite. You get a few Sky generation kids on Twitter but on the forums and at the ground, which is what really matters, nobody is upset at all, and everyone is being very patient and have accepted its going to take 2-3 seasons for him to fix the utter mess he inherited from the last 3 years. Easy 95% if not more of the fans are content so far and pleased with what he's done, especially promoting the youth, and are looking forward to the next few years. I'm even surprised how patient and understand everyone is being. Some people are trying to infer that Rodger's is "under pressure" already and the TRUTH is that he isn't and hasn't been, neither from the fans or the owners. If we are still only aiming for 8th in 2 years time that will be another story, but myself and everyone I speak to, reckon he will be a success so long as FSG back him with a suitable amount of money that a club looking to break the top 4 would expect and require.
What utter ****ing nonsense you people write. I don't hate Rogers', I was insulted by his conduct at the time, but that's done and dusted. I have not even said this is a mistake or that he is making mistakes. Clearly, the concept of a "mistake" is first proffered by you. If you think he has made a mistake or is making a mistake I suggest you start your own thread and have it out there. I have merely commented on Rogers' repositioning of what his catch phrase means and his current valuation of the Liverpool squad. This is going to be ongoing. What's driving this? Mate, living in Norway i deal with Liverpool fans every day, some fly over for the games all the time and there are a few starting to grow frustrated with things at anfield,im not saying its the majority but there is definatly grumbling from a portion of your fans. they like alot of people would just prefer him to be honest and apraise the team correctly and honestly. Saying things like he did against Newcastle after a 1-1 draw at home will not wash after a while (saying he thought the team were fantastic and brilliant was streaching it a little bit) . Thing is im confused by your last paragraph, what do you deem a suitable amount of money 10,20,30,40m quid ?? or all of it put together? spending big never solved your problem in the previous couple of seasons . And by the way, did you enjoy the Gaurdian article? because judging by how little you follow who says what up there im not sure if you are actually gauging the real opinion of the Anfield faithful, if you had no clue your own captain had pencilled in 4th place how do i know the people you speak to have their finger on the pulse at Liverpool ?? some of you swans fans are so jealous of Brendan its unbelievable...Brendan has never said liverpool would be in the top 4, he said he has been given 3 years to make Liverpool great again and nobody cant deny he is doing pretty good so far and ahead of where he thought they would be....Fair play to the man he may achieve his goal well before the 3 years and i hope he does it......Most Liverpool fans are not stupid and know there is no instant fix and are happy with progress so far and it would not surprise me one bit that Liverpool will finish higher than us once he brings in a few players in January.....stop being bitter lads your making yourself look like fools....worry about how we are going to beat the toon and Liverpool....We wont have a better chance of beating both teams at the moment so talk about how we are going to do that...

Ditto to Dragon. We made out the best on the situation. Dai ... We talk about him because he keeps making statements that headline in the media. Rogers' is a walking, TALKING media doll. There must be a string coming out of his rear end that gets pulled and the next "fantastic" statement pops-out. Actually, this isn't even about Liverpool, this about the man himself as a personality in the game and his larger than life statements. He's no where near the Brian Clough level ....
