HORDUR MAGNUSSON Signed from: Juventus, undisclosed fee Other previous clubs: Fram, Spezia (loan), Cesena (loan). Icelandic international defender who travelled to the Euros in the summer. Taking his first step into English football, Magnusson – who can play centre-back or left-back – will link up with the team in La Manga. He said: "When I saw the stadium and the facilities and met Lee Johnson there was never any doubt in my mind that this was the perfect club for me at this stage of my career.” CALLUM O’DOWDA Signed from: Oxford United, undisclosed fee Other previous club: None. Highly-rated winger has left his boyhood club to join City on a three-year deal. Recently called up into the Republic of Ireland squad, O’Dowda has electric pace and a wicked left foot. Dont see Freeman getting too much game time unless he shows big improvement. Too few goals, and a heavy dependence upon his left foot found him out last year. Has his days, but need to see far more of them
