That's brilliant, I don't bother with cup games now because we never pitch a strong team and we generally don't do very well! It's clubs and selection policy that are driving attendances down in the FA cup.

exactly. why should we care if they dont.Players are well compensated for winning, assists, clean sheets etc why shouldnt they be penalised for poor performances ?

Thinking about it, we should sign their strikeforce. Even when the team puts in an unacceptable performance they manage to score 3 goals. It's taken us since the 8th of December to score 3 goals in the league.

Plus it was GLP juniors 2nd birthday - I'd never have got it
    Signed off <laugh>.

I cannot believe Barmby is not looking at our impotent strikeforce, and thinking we don't need strengthening? I don't have any England caps, but I can tell up front we are very light. I would suggest we even need 2 strikers. Darius Henderson and a n other would be a good start.

SPOT ON. Anyone with brains knew that NB would play the fringe/squad players. At £10 how can anyone complain but they have. I enjoyed wathing Crawley on saturday and give credit to them. Dont go to cup games in future if your not happy. With Doncaster not playing what is Nick to do ? risk injury to players for a more improtant game ? As an example, when Jack Hobbs went over the boards that could have been very nasty indeed. Glad that he is made of strong stuff. It was also a risk to leave him on after his booking as i feared a red card may follow especially with that clown Atwell as ref. Glad that Jack survived both.

It's gonna take a draw against Man United, Man City, Arsenal, Liverpool etc to draw a big crowd for a cup match. After Saturday I wouldn't be rushing back to watch a cup match.

i see that Brighton have drawn Liverpool away the day Poyets boys should have been at the KC ? guess Nick may take a trip to Anfield that day now.

And had we beaten Crawley that is the worst possible draw we could have had.

    Crap for drawing fans in.

Crap for TV (Crawley might get that game on having beaten two npC sides).

Against a PL team so even more fans would expect us to play a full strength side - you can play a weakened side and be accused of underestimating lower league, if you get PL it's purely going to be down to a lack of respect for the fans and the competition if you play a weakened side, even if you win you'll be criticised for it.

Stoke are probably the most physical side in the PL. Of all the teams to be playing I'd least like to see Koren, Stewart, and our only CBs fit to start regularly playing against Stoke who are in for their only serious chance of trying to win something.

Arf <laugh> you ladder your tights this morning? Not going is my choice, you want to spend a tenner watching the stiffs lose then good on you. Frankly, I've better things to do on a Saturday afternoon than watch a non competitive fixture <ok>
