I know there are still 5 games left, buuuuttt...

who (apart from RVP) will you be voting for for Fans player of the Year?

    (just a bit of fun)

Mine will have to be Song or Arteta, think they have both performed very well this year

Aaron Ramsey - for carrying the weight of the midfield for the majority of the season, in the absence of Nasri, Fabregas, Wilshere and Diaby and putting in a committed shift every time he plays. It was great to see him play well last night, he deserves a lot of credit for his contribution this season.

Seriously PISKIE!? I know you like to be contraversial sometimes, but I honestly don't think you believe that one bit!

Arteta, Rosicky, Theo, RvP, and even Sagna, Song & Chesney would ALL feature above Ramsey.

Only RVP. He is so far ahead that you need the Hubble space telescope to see him. Without him we would be around 5th/6th place.

  7. Apart from RvP like you I'll take Arteta ahead of Song followed by Szczesny, Kos, Walcott and Rosicky.

I'd probably go with Arteta too. I think he's been a key signing this season. He has glued our midfield together so well. It has enabled players like Song and Rosicky to go forward and express themselves more. That's why i would be reluctant to drop him next season. I'd rather we test our midfield out and see what the Arteta, Song, Wilshere or Arteta, Wilshere, Rosicky combinations do. Very interesting!

Koscielny for me. Honorable mentions to Arteta, and, when healthy, Sagna.

  11. Couldn't agree more with testing the combinations Mr 20K. I wonder what other new faces may be lined up for the coming season. Wilshere's unscheduled absence has thrown a major fly into our ointment this season but we have recovered mightily assisted it needs to be said, through the inconsistency of other teams. A major midfielder may still be needed to sharpen and beef up our control of the game. I watch little of other clubs so I'm not sure who though.

 The difference he's made can't be underestimated. We've all noticed the upturn in Theo's contributions and that's largely down to having Mr Lasagna behind him. Top top RB with sh*t sh*t hair.

I think with Rosicky's new found form and Wilshere coming back may stop Wenger and co from buying anyone new. I still think we need strengthening but i can see this coming :(

GG used to say 'start at the back and work forward'. Not sure Wenger is quite finished there <laugh>

Sagna is my favourite Arsenal player. Never cheats, never abusive and quietly gets on with his job at the highest level. He is the model professional!

I love him too. The way he put up with Balotelli r*ping him for 85 minutes was remarkable.

This is very difficult question. When I answered the questionaire that Shogun sent out, I had a difficult time with it.

It really has been a team effort, tying to pick one of the 6 or 7 top players for us is very difficult.

  20. Yeah I have this niggly feeling too, borne of historical events being repeated. You know the ones I refer to, the talk of no one being needed for the squad, the claims that non-availability of players. Haven't we heard them all before, yet the recycling will no doubt go on well into our future as long as certain members of our board remain. I fear my friend, I fear.
