We all know that Clegg should have walked months ago and yet nothing will change. The fans will whinge and moan for a while and then it will all be forgotten! The biggest issue is why we didn't strengthen our defence in the window and now with Sonko out we are left we Smith & Delaney! Most other supporters at other clubs would be openly protesting but us gentle Suffolk folk just seem too poilte! When will people wake up and realise that this club is in a right old mess from top to bottom and while these clowns are in charge the only way we are going is down! Season Ticket renewal time is fast approaching and it will be interesting to see how many of us will renew for next year. To be honest I am seriously considering not renewing my tickets because it is obvious that this club lead by this clueless ****er doesn't give a toss.
Fans going to the rematch DON'T get free tickets - they get 50% off............. But I don't want a "free" ticket, I've already got a ticket for the match (as have my two sons), which we only saw 37 minutes of... I accept the club will not reimburse me for the £40 that I spent on petrol yesterday, or help with the £40 that it will cost me in petrol to get to the rematch, but I hope that in the coming days the club will see sense and allow ticket holders in for free on the day. Bunch of ****s, otherwise!
****in' ridiculous. I wonder what would happen if the fans voted with their feet and nobody decided to go to the re-match? Fancy trying to hide behind regulations only to have it come to light that that is actually only the minimum you have to offer. A total disgrace. This must surely be the catalyst for a protest to get Clegg out of the club. It has been on the cards for a while, maybe this is the final straw. I'm sure it would make our managers job easier to have someone in charge who can actually close deals and bring players in. It seems like Keane's frustrations at Cloggy might have had some grains of truth.
What beats me is Jewell coming out and agreeing with Mowbray that the referee got the decision right in abandoning the game! All the heartfelt platitudes about feeling sorry for the fans which is all very well but these idiots forget the added costs for petrol, food, parking, drinks, programs etc. It costs the casual supporter with say 3 kids about £70 on tickets alone before you get started on all the other expenses that go with it on matchdays. I have lost any faith I had with Clegg and the muppets that run our football club.
If the club sticks to the 50% () reduction for the rematch, it will have cost me around a cool £150 for my two sons and I to watch a Championship match...
That's seriously taking the Piss Welly! We really have reached the "Tipping Point" as far as Clegg is concerned and its time for a serious protest outside the ground and a boycott.
can't believe you lot don't get a full refund or replacement ticket. you'd think there would be some kind of trading protection in place really. our hull match was postponed all be it before kick off but you have the option of reusing your ticket or getting a full refund. really doesn't help your support for a club if you don't look after your own fans does it. Also from what the ref has said it seems a bit harsh to blame him. the pitch was supposedly fine at 1pm when the blowers where removed yet the day time temps had refrozen it afterwards. may seem harsh after travelling etc but can't really blame anyone. On a brighter note at least you got rid of the sonko the donkey for a few weeks!!! safe journey for any of you traveling down to fratton tomorrow. should be some good banter after the transfer window saga..........
You could all pretend to be Middlesbrough fans for the day? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17012428
