Nothing surprises me with this ****ing clown in charge! Luckily I'm a season ticket holder so it doesn't effect me but I feel sorry for those people that have travelled a long way. The Referee is a bloody disgrace and should have been made to explain his decision <ok> I think he was swayed by Mogga's constant moaning at the 4th official!

I'm reading on TWTD that it's down to league regulations... whether that's true or not I don't know.

It may be that a regulation was put in place to stop clubs losing a big chunk of money and to not have to answer for charging fans.

That just about sums up Clegg the C**T, i really wish that this clown would just get the **** out of our club!! Can't see how the fA can dictate how much you can charge, anyway there are always ways to get around these rules.
Anyone who had a ticket should be entitled to free entry into the next game and those that can't make the next game should be entitled to some kind of refund.

The game should be rearranged for next Saturday as both teams are out of the FA Cup, this will give those fans a fair opportunity to come back. That would be the most sensible decision so expect the League to rearrange the game for a Tuesday night!

Why not - the Cardiff game is also at Portman Road that day so we could kill two birds with one stone and play them back to back. Trust the league though - they'll probably set it for a day when we don't have another game <doh> <laugh>

Worst lot of PR to come out of our shambolic club from a long time.

Disgrace.

Will be sending the club a letter on Monday. That'll give me something to do at " work "

At least you didn't loose ?
Maybe you should just ask for the point and not have to suffer watching them play again ?
That was a crazy call by the ref, surely the pitch couldn't have changed much from when its inspected in the morning ? Not as if the suns going to thaw much this time of year ?
We had a similar call at Walsall couple of seasons back.
Have you not got under soil heating at PR ?

This made a very interesting read, posted on twtd.

Clegg told TWTD: “We are guided by Football League regulations on these matters"

Is he? Let's have a look. The Football League regulations are here: http://www.football-league.co.uk/regulations/20110629/section-5-fixtures_2293633_2125729#26

And the only area of those guidelines that relates to ticket prices for abandoned games is:

27 Postponements and Abandonments -Procedures for Re-Arrangement and Refunds

27.3 Every Club must have a publicly stated policy regarding ticket refunds or other arrangements for abandoned Matches.

Very, very poor show from the club, trying to pass the buck. So let's have a look at the club's "publicly stated policy regarding ticket refunds or other arrangements for abandoned Matches"

Well, there's nothing in the Match Ticket Terms & Conditions: http://www.itfc.co.uk/page/TermsAndConditionsDetail/0,,10272~1735042,00.html

Nor in the Season Ticket Terms & Conditions: http://www.itfc.co.uk/page/TermsAndConditionsDetail/0,,10272~1024959,00.html

And in the Ground Regulations ( http://www.itfc.co.uk/page/TermsAndConditionsDetail/0,,10272~1024967,00.html ) it says:
5 In the event of the postponement or abandonment of the Match, refunds (if any) will be made in accordance with the Club's Customer Charter. The Club will have no further liability whatsoever, including (but not limited to) any indirect or consequential loss or damage, such as (but not limited to) loss of enjoyment or travel costs.

So a quick look at the club's Customer Charter ( downloadable as a Word document from http://www.itfc.co.uk/page/CustomerService/0,,10272,00.html ) shows.... nothing about refunds in the event of abandoned games. So much for being "guided by Football League regulations on these matters"

Another abysmal cockup by Clegg. And yet another example of the Evans regime only seeing fans as customers up until the point that they have our money.

Just goes to prove what a lying piece of ****e Clegg is, may he be stripped of his CBE and made to Bum **** Susan Boyle!!

Surely if you buy a ticket for a football match you should get to watch a football match, I'm gonna just turn up on the 38th minute of the re-arranged game to watch the rest i'm sure that must be acceptable.

OK... so we have a problem with filling seats... so as an experiment we reduce prices 25%... and then we charge another 50%... so to watch the game you'll have to fork out 125% <laugh>

What a complete ****ing douchebag Clegg is <laugh>
