    yes my friend. Its the 'image' of god that is the problem
    even science has a name for the creator, its called the 'god gene'

    <laugh> I meant there was no way the nations youth could have became so detatched that they thought Jesus was born in Essex, but the Satan/Cowell analogy works.

    The Old Testament detailed that the Messiah was to be born into the House of David and by virgin birth.

    Joseph was the House of David. Mary wasn't.

    That being the case, either Jesus was House of David or of virgin birth. Or Mary got slipped one from some other dude.

    Either way, Jesus wasn't the Messiah.

    Our existence does not prove that there is a God not least a God that organised religion would have us believe exists.

    Can I convert to islam on christmas eve, thus sparing me about £600 in xmas presents, then convert back in time for a tipple at new years? Or is there a sect of Islam that permits drinking?

    who says they were 'good'?

    Most people do as they please, do all the things their god (and I say this to include all religions) tells them are prohibited, yet when things go wrong they blame the very same god
