Sorry if this has been asked before but i just wondered if any of you actually know each other outside of 606, ja606 and not606?? It is always the same names that crop up and I for one am so glad that the closure of BBC 606 did not cause us all to go our separate ways. I may not always agree, and to be honest I tend to read every day but very rarely post, bit it is great to see the debates continue. Anyway, as the title suggests just wondered how many knew each other and if you all thought it a good idea to meet up for a pint prior to a home game....would be quite interesting to put some faces to names....
I go for a beer at the Donkey before the game with a couple of mates, like you i know the residents in here by name only and only know one member from BBC 606 but ive yet to see him move over to Not606.
I'm usually a bit miserable in real life but I quite like the idea of that! Maybe not606 and ja606 could meet up...or would that result in a police helecopter hovering overhead? Mrs Stourbridgefox and I used to sit just infront of 1884Burbagefox and we sometimes see him on the way to games. Also, we used to sit a few seats down from the legend that was ArrotheFox and Stunningfox said hello once too! I've also seen who I assume to be Bristolfox at MK Dons and at the Walkers. I think it was him because he had 'Bristol Fox' on his shirt!!
Yes well remembered Stourbridge! I was of course sitting just behind you in the West Stand (just the ticket area) and was easy for me as you have your name (stourbridgefox) on your shirt!
Yeah that's right! Although the shirt came before the 606 name. Mrs. Stourbridgefox, me and her two daughters were the Stourbridge Foxes!
Arrothefox went to Australia. He posted on 606 a few times as Arro in Oz or something but if he has moved to a new forum I haven't seen him. I dunno about Legacy. Sitting on frozen peas?
I'm also a Robert Peeler with my mates and would happily have a pint with my fellow posters - Please note the bit where I said happily HAVE A PINT WITH AND NOT BUY A PINT FOR
As I live in the West Midlands I hardly ever go for a pint before a game. I usually visit my mum! But if it's a cold game me and Mrs SF often go for a hot chocolate in the Holiday Inn... like the party people we are!
