Diedhiou is growing on me. He put in a motm performance yesterday by all accounts and topped it with a superb headed goal - one of the best headers I’ve seen.
He hasn’t scored as many as a centre-forward should, but he contributes so much - his defending is superb when helping out at the back.
He seems a nice guy too - with the right attitude - he really engages with the fans.
I admit that I was a bit ‘meh’ towards him at first, but he has matured in so many ways and is winning me over.
What a player he is and he’s ours!

Seems that being on international duty has improved him.
He’s a 1 in 2 games for Senegal, makes him better than Mane <whistle>

I think the competition of having Wells in the squad now inspired him a little, now he has serious competition, and he knew his place was under threat. I thought Weimann was off the pace yesterday, which is unlike him.

Afobe back soon-Wells in his spot is under pressure.
If that don’t inspire him nothing will.

    Great to have the competition.
