I have a problem that i need help from not606ers I bought a house a while back. I got it cheap as it was run down and a repossession and have since done it up. mainly myself. Due to contacts etc i got work i couldnt do cheap. so double glazing for £2000 etc Now contrary to what some may think, I am a nice guy to family and friends. so someone needed a house and i let them have it, no rent etc. They used it as a dosshole and we arent on speaking terms One guy wants to rent it, apply for housing and whatever he gets wants to split it. so if he gets £300 a month he wants £150 for living there Another person wants to buy it, but for what i paid and what it cost to do up. so in essence (to keep the figures simple) i bought a 60k house for 40k and spent 5k doing it up. They want it for 45k. I would let them have it for £55k Now for me this was an investment. buy and sell not rent. traditionally i havent been money motivated as such, and quite generous. eg I bought a pair of rockports. my brother liked them so i gave them to him after wearing once. had a £1700 watch, the old man liked it gave it to him This time its different, how do i tell these lot to fook off?
I mean, who in their right mind posts what you just have if they're genuinely in that position? You really are a moonman who invents things up about his non-existent life
What's next from "thetardwithnobrain" "I'm in a bit of a dilemma fellow posters. You see, I bought this million pound mansion in Alderley Edge, right next door to Scholesy, but his music is doing my nuts in so should I stay or sell it to Aguero who's been chapping on my door"?
I'll assume that you're genuine, for a minute. Why are you having trouble telling these people to do one? One of them wants you to basically pay him for renting your house and the other one wants you to do a load of work for nothing. You have some ****ty friends. Tell them to **** off.
In which case you have some ****ty family members. Tell them to stop taking the piss. You made an investment and took a risk. Why should they profit from that, instead of you? Would they have volunteered to take the loss from you, if it had all gone horribly wrong? I doubt it.
I have a similiar situation... Decided I dont like my Ferrari and only drove it 5 miles. Now, I'm torn between given it to my Brother or my best friend! I recenty gave my brother my Helicopter and my best friend my City centre penthouse apartment (worth a quarter million). Now I don't want to big myself up, but I'm overly generous and rich so I'm always giving expensive gifts to friends and family! So, who get my Ferrari (with the diamond encrusted strearing wheel)?
