Normally the way we do things - today could be the ultimate "remember when" if the 'ammers can do us a favour we'll never forget. YNWA
reality is fat sam is already on hols and has known for a month or more that this would be a decider so he's just mouthing what is expected but as a manc lover and ferguosn bum chum he aint out to try hard, not even in vengence for humiliation in the league cup. carroll would love rodgers to be f'd over and frnakly downing and cole and the rest don;t give a crap... in fact i reckon they will all be on hols and will try to give 2-30mins then once one goes in they'll get mullered fairytales..... that would be hart taking down nolan and getting sent off after 5 mins. 1-0 to the hammers. its a very very low chance. i am not one to celebrate failure but we are going in worst case 3rd and we should get 2nd today. its not going to be the real party but a quiet satisfaction on a year much better than before and a little optimism at competing next year is what i reckon is appropriate. seeing this seaosn ever end is not what i want cos things will be different next year. heres to a good summers activity and NO world cup based buys
I just hope we win. If City win then fair enough but finishing 2nd, with a win at home on the final day and the crowd applauding and cheering on the players for the final time this season. Not quite the perfect way to end the season but a pretty good way
Exactly, some perspective here. We have had a season above and beyond all expectation.Should be a great atmosphere at Anfield today.
Or gets injured and ruins his WC. City have managed him so poorly this year, keep rushing him back from injury way too soon and causing more damage.
I'm guessing your not the optomistic sort then? Your probably right but Citeh will be nervous knowing the situation and I will be expecting W.Ham to put them under pressure at times with aerial bombardment.
I think West Ham will go 1-0 and we'll be winning too only for Man City to equalise in last ten minutes and win on GD again.
All I want is a performance and a win from Liverpool. The rest has to take care of itself. I'm celebrating it having been a brilliant season.
What an anticlimactic last day of the season it was. Citeh boring the pants off everyone. At least we won though. And came from behind.
