I must say before the season, I had you guys down as possible relegation candidates, I didn't quite think you would go down, but I didn't think you would be that far away. You sold a guy for 35 million, then lost arguably your best player (at the time) Barton on a free. It realy didn't look good for you guys.

I don't know what Pardew has done, but he seems to have you guys playing aswell as you've been since Sir Bobby was in charge. Hes spent very little compared to most sides, including Stoke tonight, who have flashed the cash a little this season, so to be getting the results he has, is quite unbelievable. Chelsea, Liverpool and Man Utd couldn't get 3 points at Stoke, so your win tonight deserves alot of credit.

I'm not going to get involved in saying were you might or might not finish, as im sure most of you don't want to get carried away, but fair play on your performances so far, and I wish you well for the rest of the season

    thanks for that
as (can't believe i'm quoting him) gary nev said i don't think we'll be top 6 but a europa is there for the taking if we're lucky with injuries/a few additions in Jan/lose no-one important in jan and see how we cope without Ba and tiote for the few weeks they'll be away @ the ACoN.said 9th at the start of the season and would be happy with that but higher is achievable.Good luck to you ..unless like 5 goals said you're a mackem <cheers>

Ye the African Nations would be a worry, obviously Ba is your main man up front, and it would be a blow to lose him. The biggest key to your positive results this season, for me though is your defence, and the fact the same 4 defenders and Keeper, have played every game. I realy like Coloccini, he is a class act, and is pivotal to your side. I believe if you can get a little luck throughout the season with injurys, then you could get a European place:biggrin:

Bet Andy Carroll is gutted that he left. But, also buzzing because his boyhood team is doing so well

When you put it like that, its pretty funny. I wouldn't imagine any of you guys would swap Ba for Carroll now. I'd love you guys to finish above those scousers. 170 million Dalglish has spent on players in less than a year, yet they can't even beat Norwich at home:biggrin:
