It could have been a bad night, but as I posted earlier Derby County is likely to have a big influence on the relegation zone AND DID US A MASSIVE FAVOUR TONIGHT. READING going like a GT Western express seemed to lack a bit of go but helped...... ...WE need to emulate ALL Donny's results, they could be our biggest danger. Hull winning although not involved directly, bodes well for us they have a number of games against bottom 5 teams best of luck if they get promoted!
If we can't create our own luck we just have to hope that other teams do us a favour, like last night. However relying on that route to safety is pitted with big potholes and we need to control our own destiny. We have no time left to live off the comments about how well we played, and that we are too good to go down, because the time is now for us to produce our own positive results and nothing else will do. If we fail to put any points on the board in our next few games then we are doomed to the unthinkable. The simple fact is that we have to out-point the teams below us in every single game and unless we do we have been the creators of our own demise. Excuses, bad luck and poor refereeing can't be included in our list of reasons why we have failed this season, when it is solely down to a very poor team that hasn't been able to compete in the Championship. Who knows what next season will have on offer but one thing that is for sure is the plain truth that something major has to happen with BCFC to produce a club that can make us supporters proud of our team. If we survive then I don't believe that there are many posters on this site that would consider this season anything other than a shambles. Anyway the moderate rant is over and let's just hope we can produce a string of results that move us to safety - it's what we all wish.
Wouldnt sayit was a rant ! I have been saying similar all season Mike, its OK to say things like never mind other teams we need to to just keep on winning and the rest takes care of itself we havent kept winning and they havent, a dozen matches ago we had a breathing space had we won 1 in every `3 we would be looking down at at a healthy 2 win gap we are the poorest team in the NPC REGARDING THE MOST IMPORTANT THING GD........WE HAVE TO FACE THE FACTour GD is like the anchor on the Titanic can we win 5 our next 10 games by more than 2 goals difference??....
