The club have set up a new Hull Tigers Facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/pages/Hull-Tigers They are merging it with https://www.facebook.com/hullcityofficial to automatically switch you to following the new account. If you mouse-over the text at the top of the original page, you should get a 'report message' dialogue box to reject the change. please log in to view this image
Oh sure, Facebook will listen and stop that. No question at all. Honestly, you must be REALLY bored. The club "owns" both, the club can call it whatever the hell it likes, it's not breaking any terms of use with Facebook, and I suspect you know that, yet, you still do this. Please, for the love of god, do not release a CTWD presser on this. I don't want to tell you how to "protest" as I'm sure you think you're good at it, but a better way to protest would be to....not follow that Facebook page.
Another stealth nail in the Hull City AFC coffin. Allam continues to stick two fingers up to the supporters and the FA over this name change obsession. The sooner he ****s off...the better.
Up pops Happy to deliberately miss the point again. Hull City were refused permission to change their name by the FA, but they're changing it anyway, at least they're attempting to do so. This message wasn't posted by CTWD, it was posted be me, a Hull City AFC fan.
More like up pops you to be outraged about something and nothing as usual. They've merged 2 pages together, so that anyone going to either gets the same information. Which page has taken priority? Which one? Come on now, which one is it? Yeah, its the Hull City AFC one. So, and I'm typing this slowly for you, which one has essentially gone? Go on, you can do it. Gowaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan. Oh, Hull Tigers has been merged into the other one? Mercy me. Hull City were refused permission to change their *what* name by the FA? Playing name you say? Oh right, has that changed then? No? Well bugger me, what's all this drama about then? There must be SOMETHING more important than this to keep you busy.
Happy, I thought you had no interest in the name change and don't care if it's being changed by stealth(which is self evidently is), so why not just **** off to another thread?
if you'd bothered to read the o.p. you'd see that there is not a single comment about the change in it. the post just contains facts, not opinions. you're a bit of a ******.
All I see here is that when someone types Hull Tigers into the Facebook search they'll find the Hull City AFC page. Now to me that looks like they're trying to boost their page's 'likes' rather than somehow undermine the F.A's decision as a lot of people who don't quite know about the decision will perhaps be searching for 'Hull Tigers'. Unless I've completely missed something this doesn't look like something to get worked up at.
It's stealth if they try to merge likes and pass you across. I've just had to 'unlike' Hull Tigers, which I definitely never liked before.
There's a Hull Tigers page... https://www.facebook.com/pages/Hull-Tigers/693389747351582?fref=ts And a Hull City AFC page... https://www.facebook.com/hullcityofficial The followers of Hull Tigers and Hull City AFC are currently being auto-merged by Facebook, unless you object(or unlike).
It's hardly stealthy if you noticed it lol. My interest is just in making sure people don't get sucked in by misleading suggestions and statements is all. Like yours on this subject. After a break from it all, I'm quite looking forwards to carrying that on. I must admit I thought it would fade away, as what's going to happen is fairly obvious, but seeing as you want to pick up meaningless stuff like this, and feed it to your sheep for them to start baabaaing about, I see it as my duty to respond. If you can get irate and angsty about made up stuff, I don't see why I can't have a laugh at your expense and wind you up a bit. S'bantz innit? Sides, it'll be funny when your pet Mods start deleting/moving posts.
We support our local team, says the season pass blurb. What's that team called then? It doesn't say on the blurb, you ****s.
