Not football related, but a fkn disgrace nevertheless. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...ay-marriage-criticising-new-law-Facebook.html
Raw, although I may not agree with his view point I agree that something has to be done to stop this madness. The guy obviously has believes! so why is his believes be it Christian/Muslim/Jew not be taken into account? As long as they aren't inciting hatred then what is the problem? Honestly guys I fear for the England as you seem to be going pc mad something I hope does not come over here to Ireland as common sense has to prevail at some time.
Exactly mate: I don't buy into any of these organised religions, but I firmly believe that people who do should be able to express their opinions without fear or prejudice...
yes, especially when he is talking only about weddings in churches, and not civil weddings. If he has said "gay marriage is wrong" in general, then thats one thing but the catholic church clearly states that their religious wedding is between men and women only. I dont see why homosexuals would want to get married in a place of faith that believes gay marriages are wrong... Mind you, the man is a idiot for having friends from work access to his facebook account. I dont have a single person from work listed as a friend on facebook for this exact reason.
Political correctness gone mad. The problem is that too many state functions are run by loony lefties. My mum was a teacher for years and when Charles & Di got married one of her colleagues only allowed her class to hang up red and white bunting, rather than red, white & blue. Daft thing was, my mum could wind her up something rotten as mum is a miner's daughter from Gateshead and the other teacher went to private school! Spot the working class person...
My school does the same thing, its ****ing unbelievable, mind you i wouldn't let them punish me for it!
Thing is and this is a controversial subject, but i dont really see why its up to the government to say yes they can, no they cant. surely it should be up to the church if they allow it or not, if they do, fine, if not, fine.
I think he's entitled to his opinion, its free speech. He is clearly a Christian just defending his faith, if he was any other religion he would have got away with it despite this being a Christian nation
Well you said it's the looney left to blame, but it is the Conservatives who are in government, so I just can't understand your logic.
This is a football forum....but you are commenting on a edited article from the mail.the bloody mail........ about political correctness....gone wrong ....im sorry but this paper has a history of bias and mis reporting of these type of stories...such as reporting that there was going to be a euro law forcing fishermen on commercial boat to wear hair nets.....or from the 80s that councils could not use the term blackboard or black bin liner...in short we are getting snippits of info and you can only get this sort of demotion if you are in breach of contract. The mail will obviously fail to say that there are laws to protect the individual in the workplace from unfounded arbitrary sanctions as the ones seen in this case(according to mail). And sid if it was not for the left, todays workplace would still be dickensian in nature.Long live the fulwell popular front.
