... has announced his retirement. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/o/football/19265338 I'm sure most on here will wish him long life, and good luck in whatever he chooses to do in the future.
All the best to him, it's a shame he's had to retire but no real surprise. It was fantastic that he survived and pulled through so well. Maintaining a professional football career was obviously a step too far
So sad for his career to be cut so short, it's a miracle that he survived. If he wasn't playing in the PL and have that swift medical treatment then he would not have survived. I hope Bolton use him in a coaching role. He would be inspirational to kids, tying to break into the professional game.
I'm sure there will be a role for him in football. Lovely fella and if one looks at this from one perspective very very lucky. Best wishes to him
Best of luck to the guy and I'm glad that he's not tempting fate because obviously he had a serious problem that might reoccur.
I wish the lad success and a long life, some things are more important than a game, he has a young family they'll want to see their dad and husband around. I was just reading about Dr Andrew Deaner again, honestly it was extremely lucky that he was in the crowd http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/...llapse-minute-by-minute?mobile-redirect=false
