The following statement appeared on the club's website last night: "Everyone at Fulham FC has been left deeply saddened by events at White Hart Lane earlier today and the news this evening that Fabrice Muamba is in a critically ill condition in intensive care. "The Clubâs management, players, staff and fans stand together in offering their thoughts and prayers to Fabrice Muamba and his family at this time." I'm sure everyone on this board would echo these sentiments and send their best wishes to Muamba, his family, and Bolton Wanderers.
Lets hope Fabrice pulls through and makes a full recovery, but it doesn't sound good. After getting back home about 8pm after my usual long journey back from the game, I read a text from a friend who said 'Fulham had a bad day, but not as bad as the Bolton Player' I just thought Oh someone must have scored two own goals. It wasn't until I went online to find out the scores, that the full story hit me. Then I saw the TV footage of fans praying and crying.
I was watching the Spurs Bolton game and honestly couldn't believe it. When you saw him face down on the ground moving the way he was you know something has gone terribly wrong.
