Apparently trollface Fabregas called Kanoute a terrorist and Kanoute lost it and was sent off. Anyone see the incident?

He called him a terrorist? Was it picked up on audio? Did he admit it? Have you any proof other than wishful thinking? I think it's clear just who the little prick is in this instance.

Oh, dear! The sensibilities of the pathetic Gooner have been bruised!

I don't know if you know this, Gooner, but Fabregas stabbed your club in the back. He captained you, and then left you completely and utterly in the lurch to fester in mid-table obscurity. This is not a player you should be seeking to protect. He is not an Arsenal "great" as he achieved nothing with your club, and he left you because he got sick-to-death of having to put up with the same old bullshit, year in and year out.

Oh, I'm sure that he'll deny it, just as he denied wanting to leave Arsenal and his mate Soggy Biscuit denied calling Marcelo a monkey.
Aragones wasn't a racist when he called Thierry Henry a black ****, either and the taunting and booing of black players by Spanish crowds is a myth, too.

Oh, I forgot to mention David Villa slagging off Islam to Ozil, too.
    They're all innocent, of course.

  7. Spanish football is, once again, under the media spotlight and being closely scrutinized to see whether it has the will or the intention to stamp out racism.

Fabregas should be hauled before a tribunal, fined several million Euros and banned for 8 matches.

That is the only way that these thick, racist, bigoted, arrogant and imbecilic Spanish footballers are going to learn that racism is not tolerated by the rest of the civilised world.

So, from all of the responses above, not one of you brainiacs has managed to back up your claim of racism. You have tried to deflect from the point, but all failed miserably in substantiating it. If anything, post #7 only goes to show the poster as being a bigot whilst trying to label others as such. Oh dear :p

Is there a limit on how many people you can have on your ignore list?

For all their beautiful football their players are worse behaved than any of Mourinho's teams.

Though you can't see it in that clip, Iniesta's dive for the penalty was a disgrace, too.
Glad the keeper saved it, but something needs to be done about that kind of behaviour.

  13. You are an absolute asshole <ok>

I'm not being sensationalistic, or over-emotional, nor am I having a hissy-fit. I am merely stating a fact.

A complete and utter asshole <ok>

    Now, do one, please.

There is certainly a wider issue here of ignoring certain parts of the game Barca play for whatever reasons, the hypocrisy of which really annoys me. When UEFA say they are against cheating, diving etc and then don't take action against players that do it. Have we heard anything about the player that feigned injury to get the Fulham lad sent off last week? Should have been banned for eight matches at least. If they're not going to deal with the most obvious examples, there is no chance of stopping the marginal calls (where it wouldn't be obvious from video evidence and the only chance we have is for the player not to do it just in case they are caught).

16 lines of drivel, 3 quotes and a video clip just to say there is no substantiated evidence to support the spuds accusing the bloke of being a racist. The same spuds that demand signed testimony to support any press statement that they don't like - <whatevernextsmiley>

HIAG - the more you spurn me, the more I lust after you :)

I won't criticise Fabregas until proven true, but it really wouldn't surprise me. Don't get me wrong racism exists all over the world, but Spanish football in particular, whether it be the fans, players and even the managers really do have a reputation for that at the moment.

If he did say that its just a shame Kanoute didn't catch him properly and knock a few teeth out.

Seriously, deep down we all know he probably said it, but there isn't any proof so he'll get away with it.

Can somebody explain to me why calling someone a terrorist is racist?

    This is a genuine question.
