What was he sent off for? I have so little interest in them that I've no idea what he did to get sent off. Yep Matic was reduced to 1 game due to mitigating circumstances.....The FA's wording.....
Whilst the ref was having a chity chat Fabregas kicked the ball from 30yards away? And it hit a opp player on head...was wba wasn't it????? Not much interest from me either obviously???
According to the Beeb, it was officialy for 'violent conduct', and I can only assume the ref thought it was deliberate. He's probably over-egging Fabregas' abilities there, but if he did, the 3-game ban would apply. Chelski do seem to have a knack of overturning or reducing bans for their players...
