    Liverpool fan in peace.

Rumour of us being in for Borini, from what I've seen (which is highlights and the play off final) he is a very good player.

You lot have seen more of him, is he any good?

Certainly good enough for a top Championship side and possibly a mid-table Premier side.

    He's in Italy's Euro 2012 squad.

If Brendan is going for Swansea's loan players you'll also be chasing Josh McEachran soon.

I think Chelsea rate him quite highly but again from what I've seen he's a promising player.

He is a good player, but if you are going in for siggy, why for Borini as well ? They both play in a similar role

Josh McEachran was very poor down here and couldn't get in the team most the time, Borini however is a great player and is the reason we got promoted IMO. He works hard, scores goals, creates goals and is a good set piece taker. Would be good for Liverpool and will likely happen if you ask me

Brendan clearly wants Sigurdsson to replace Gerrard and Borini to replace Carroll <ok>

So he's more of an attacking midfielder/off the striker type player?

Where did he play when part of your front 3 left, right or center?

For us, up-front lone striker but very mobile.

I think Rodgers is looking to play Suarez as one of the attacking players left or right, which just leaves us with Carroll up front. If he gets Borini then it would give us options that we don't have at the moment, I hope this one is true.

He plays anywhere in the front 3 but usually was the central striker for us as we had Sinclair and Dyer either side and had a lack of strikers

Borini is an out and out centre forward. Scored twice on his debut for us if I remember correctly and never looked anything short of a very natural, very talented striker. I'll be amazed if he doesn't go on to be a top, top player, as from what we saw he had everything in his locker in terms of technique, as well as a hell of an engine on him. Really, really wanted to win every game he played, and that's huge. If you get him I hope it's not for a big fee as all too often big transfer fees at a young age hamper players by creating heightened expectations.

Well, it was a toss-up between Borini and Franco Baresi who won 82 caps for Italy <ok>
