please log in to view this image The bubble has burst! Today we didn't win 5 Golds. No indeedy .. we won 7 GOLD bringing the total now to 32 Golds and 72 MEDALS altogether. Pride of place is a difficult one but Georgie Hermitage has to be up there. She added the 400m title to her 100m one and broke the world record in the doing.

Hannah Cockcroft winning he second GOLD in a world record time for sure but I'm giving pride of place to 15 year old Kare Adenegan who won a BRONZE in the same race.
please log in to view this image It's back to Five's High today ... with 5 GOLDS making it 48 so far and the MEDAL total 105 Pride of place has to go to Jeanette Chippington, who won 12 medals between 1998 and 2004 in the swimming pool, returned today in a canoe and a GOLD.

Not a day to tout Team GB with the tragic death of the Iranian athlete, Bahman Golbarnezhad, in the cycle road race. For the record GB now have 63 golds and a total of 141 medals.

Second behind China with a total of 64 GOLDS and 147 MEDALS altogether. Pride of place goes to EVERY athlete taking part.
