    Hi Guys,
I was watching the BBC sport this morning and after the report about the Sunderland v Everton fixture the presenters went on to say that the young child who came out of the tunnel with Germain Defoe was a cancer sufferer and that there was a fund open that wanted to raise £700,000 to send him to America for vital treatment. They then went onto say that Everton FC had donated £200,000 to that fund on hearing of the appeal. I not unlike many knock clubs and players for the greed and ungameship that seems to infest the game today, so it was really refreshing to hear this news. Well done Everton for putting a bit of respect back into the game and investing in its most valuable asset...supporters. They have also asked the youngster to attend the return fixture at Goodison at their expense, so all in all a massive positive bit of PR for football....Well done!!

    Spot on banana.

Some may say it's small potatoes for a Prem club with the money they chuck about at players, but Everton didn't have to do it and all credit to them. <applause>

well done 2everton even tho its small change really(or potatoes down porthcawl lol), they did dig into thy deep pockets unlike some of the biggest clubs(man ure) who spend the same amount on wages for three players each wk 2 what could save a childs life per week;..............morals and football is not a common theme anymore.....sad but true.....the more money people get the less likely they are 2 give a fk about them less fortunate init <ok>

seems the uk will start 2 use cannabis for medical treatment in time, but as usual its full of red tape bollocks and fanny farts from the dusty Christian brigade.......the bbc report claims that its has little benefit treating epilepsy startles me straight away......seems I got more education on thy subjects than our fking doctors aye.....

this works >>>>>>so don't let your relatives suffer do some research and help them ffs

    yes even cnn

Brilliant Everton, If every team donated a small amount this kid could have his treatment.
