The under 18's take on Chelsea tonight in the Quarter Final of the FA Youth Cup.

Anybody that went to see the game against the Mackems will know we've got some good youngsters in the ranks and it would be good to give them as much encouragement as possible to help them go all the way.

There was massive queue's the last time with people turning up late not expecting as many going as did go.

Try and get yourself along if you've got nothing special on, you wont regret it.

The KO is 7:05 and admission can be gained by paying at the East Stand turnstiles. A mere £3 for adults and £1 for concessions.

Newcastle confirm that they have agreed to concede home advantage in their Northumberland Senior Cup semi-final tie against Whitley Bay.

Accordingly, the Seahorses will host United U21s at Hillheads on Monday March 17th. Kickoff is 7.30pm.

This decision was announced following the Northern League's home game against Crook Town, Magpies coach Peter Beardsley among those present for a 1-1 draw.

Last year's finalists Bay last faced United in the Senior Cup at the same stage in 2010, running out 3-1 winners over a side including Paul Dummett in front of 774 fans.

The other semi-final sees Ashington face Blyth Spartans at Woodhorn Lane on Tuesday March 18th (7.30pm).

NB: The rules of this competition dictate that if scores are level after 90 minutes, then a replay is staged.

unlucky really I think we just ran out of steam in the end, we were 2-1 up at half time

all in all it was quite a good game

really crap p.a. system being used tonight

 

Played really well till Parpoo showed his ugly mug on the touchline and then everything went all to hell!

Kemen had another good game, I really like what I've seen of this kid. Of course others showed up well till Parpoo appeared on the touchline and then everything went bottoms up.

Parpoo likes that from what we've been led to believe.

 

it did go flat the second half

we never tested their keeper with any shots early in the second, I thought he looked very nervous and couldn't hold onto a ball

their number 5 (left back) looked like he had Tightarse Bramble's backside

 

He did look a bit dodgy, we should have capitalised on that.

 

Kemen did look class. Also, who was our 11 ? Skinned their defenders a few times in the second half. A bit greedy maybe but he's got tricky feet.
