North Ferriby from Conference North faced Wrexham today at Wembley in the final. Wrexham took a 2 goal lead but Ferriby scored 2 goals in last 14 minutes. Game went into extra time which Ferriby took the lead for the 1st time. Wrexham though levelled the game at 3-3 with just 2 minutes left of extra time to take the game to penalties. The 1st 5 pens was scored so Ferriby was leading 3-2 on pens. The next 3 pens were missed/saved. So its still 3-2 to Ferriby and Ferriby was next to with their last pen. Score and they win 4-2. Miss and Wrexham needs to score to take it to sudden death. Thats exactly what happened. 3-3 after 5 pens each. Sudden death and it needed just 2 more pens eachto settle it. Ferriby scored both and Wrexham missed the last. Ferriby won 5-4 on pens after 7 pens each was taken. Well done Ferriby.
