Thought that Redknapp wouldn't be really in the frame, surprised at this though, no doubts he is qualified for the job.
Not sure here that they have the right man, bit of a strange appointment if you ask me! Harry would have been a far better choice in my view, but maybe he didn't want it! Anyway that's shut up Dai over Rodgers...............

i hope its hodgson who will get the job but harry is still the favorite, spurs are trying to get martinez now but again rodgers is favorite if harry goes.....like i have maintained nobody will find out anything until the season is over...
According to MOTD 2, Hodgson is the ONLY manager they are talking to. He is unlikely to turn it down so that seems to rule Harry out. No skin off my nose but I reckon Harry would have done a better job. I guess that Hodgson was the PC choice, however. Oh, and then there's the money. Seems that RH is out of contract at the end of the season so will cost zilch, whereas it is said that it would cost £10 million to lever Harry out of Spurs.
he's a fantastic manager. harsh to judge him as a failure at liverpool because there was no money and he had to bring in second rate players... whether he's suited to dealing with a childish bunch of egos like an england dressing room remains to be seen but i think he's a better manager than redknapp personally.
