The FA have called for a close examination of Chris Foy's notebook.

Apparently eleven names made it into Foy's notebook but there has been a rumour that a page has been removed. Officials have spent many hours locked in an editing suite reviewing a video tapes of the game.

An FA insider said "They have been hard at it for ages. The only time they come out is to order more food or to empty the commode."

Suspicions were raised when the referees initial report was received and officials went through the list of names.

"The scrutiny committee could not believe that in a match with 9 yellow cards and 2 red the name of Joey Barton was nowhere to be found. They decided that there must be a page missing from the report or that a page had been removed from the referees notebook."

It has now been confirmed that the referee had wanted to speak to Barton on a couple of occasions but he couldn't get through the crowd of whinging, moaning, foul-mouthed Chelsea players that surrounded him, so he gave up trying.

"I am annoyed with the Chelsea lads," said Barton. "I could see the referee coming towards me, but each time they got in the way and stopped him. I know that all Chris (Foy) wanted was an autograph and I think that it is bad form for them to stop him. I have already made amends and sent him an A4 signed photograph and a second hand watch. One of Tony Fernades' mates at the Referees Association is going to pop it in his pigeon hole on Wednesday."

Meanwhile QPR left back, Hill, has reported John Terry to the police alledging sexual harrasment during the same match. TV footage has been found showing Terry shouting "You - Clint ... yes, you Clint, F U Clint. I'm gonna have you Clint".

The police have confirmed that they are investigating, but have made no further comment.

    More when we get it.

Wouldn't that just be the 11 players that were cautioned. The 9 Chelsea players and the 2 QPR?

We kind of take him for granted through familiarity but this ranks with the finest satire around.

District Line loves it here, he's on every day. Why don't you give up on the chumps from down the road and join us real fans, you know you want to. Each day brings new joy, we are lovely. There is a lack of expectation which results in an inner calm, quite good for the soul.
