I hope that points aren't deducted after the Leeds game. If the FA allow us to present the trophy then it would appear to me that it may just be a fine we are facing, but if it meant Paladini and Flav (this could be harsh on Flav) get a ban then i would take it now. If there is a points deduction then maybe for next season, but any after the Leeds game, with the appeals that are likely to be lodged...I can only see QPR making life very difficult for the FA. However, It will be interesting to know HOW the FA can explain the change of rules that came in after Faulin was signed, unless they didn't check paperwork correctly. Maybe I have blueandwhite tinted glasses but I cannot see this being a cock up from one side only.
The situation is clear. At 14.30 on Saturday the Championship season will be completed, and any punishment given to QPR will affect us as a premiership club.
lets see us lift the npower Championship trophy on sat, i feel IF we do get a points deduction it will apply for next season as this one would have finnished, but no one knows how this mess will end up being sorted out.i know that this season im very proud of my team and we are champions in my eyes.
I can't take any more of this - even my missus keeps asking me what the decision is, and she hates football! Why do the FA have to make life so painful, when we should all be lifting our glasses and celebrating. I seem to be permanently stuck to this laptop checking every link, website, tweet and article to see if there is anything we're all missing - but it's obvious that the FA are a useless bunch of c**ts!!!
From everything I've read today, people (journalists mostly) are saying that whilst things are looking not too bad, none of them can be sure of anything other than what the FA announced. Even the no points deduction after the final game thing is believed but not confirmed...
too true oldtimer! BrixtonR - I'm same as you, can't seem to get a straight answer out of anywhere - no-one seems sure of anything. Read that we can't be deducted points next season too, cos FL and Premier are different organisations - anyone know if thats true, or is that more stabbing in the dark by everyone? was looking forward to a good celebration at the weekend, but don't know if that will be possible until we get a firm answer from the FA
Guys, Just because the FL will allow us to be presented with the trophy on Saturday means NOTHING. We all know what a bunch of plums they are. I, certainly am not reading to much into that. They have bumbled from one error to another for years, this would just be another 'foot in mouth' moment.
I have to agree with Shefford - what decision by the FA has ever been well timed, well communicated or well judged. They are about as random as a random thing.
