    The BBC too.

So much for the tough stance on racism. These twats at the FA have actually had pops at UEFA's handling of racism before, accusing them of not taking serious enough action. Well guess what, even UEFA are competent enough to take action against racist chanting, clearly picked up on the TV audio, even if it is just a crap fine.

Congratulations FArce, you make UEFA look effective <applause>

As for the Beeb "Some of West Ham's fans are alleged to have mocked Tottenham supporters, who traditionally have strong ties with London's Jewish community, during the game at White Hart Lane.". Alleged?! ****ing Hell, what more proof fo you need, the chants were easy to hear.

    Pricks the lot of them.

It's absolutely routine when we play West Ham and Chelsea, to the point where some of their own fans try to blame us for it, so I can't say that I'm surprised by this.
The FA are completely ineffective when it comes to anything worthwhile.

You know you're doing something wrong when you make Blatter look progressive.

The FA, keeping racism in football with their stance of sticking their head in the sand whilst talking out of their above-ground asses.

F.A. Is certainly one of the best acronyms in football. Money talks, unfortunately however.

West Ham and Millwall don't have any, though.

West Ham are still searching down the back of the sofa to find some change to complete the Carroll deal. If anything it's Brooking's influence but it's more likely the FA being toothless as usual(random outbursts authority, like with Suarez, aside).

Imagine the reaction from the Beeb and FA if UEFA hadn't even charged Lazio for anything when their fans were monkey chanting against us. Hypocrites.

Isn't the FA full of middle aged white men? They don't see it, hear it or get it!

I think you're missing he point. Firstly, it's setting a precedent that would then have to be applied elsewhere, in the P.L. For instance. Secondly, it's still all money to the F.A.

Let's be honest, is the fact that the FA have done nothing about it a shock to anyone?
The FA board have long been regarded as a joke and with decisions like this then they will continue to be known as a joke.

I think you made a stupid statement that has no basis whatsoever and a few, including your fellow Spuds, have pulled you up on it and you think that by attacking me you're covering your own stupidity but you're not <laugh>

Nobody has pulled me up on it, as you like to call it. It is not a stupid statement - it's fact. Something you obviously have difficulty distinguishing from opinion.

As for being called stupid by mental midgets, like you and your even dozier mate, Ossie, words fail me!

Attacking? Who attacked you. Or do you mean he disagreed with you? And if you can't see that if they take on West Ham and Millwall they will have to take on the bigger clubs too - Chelsea, Arsenal and sadly occasionally Spurs have all been guily over the years of racist behaviour. By taking issue with any of these they are demeaning the brand and as NSIS says that has a financial implication. Not sure why any of that is controversial to be honest.

By all means come on to the Spurs board, but not if you try desperately to stir up situations that don't exist.

What SD said. No one was attacking you Cpofl. Lets keep on topic.

Junction, I'm not surprised by their incompetence but they've made a big deal about being tough on racism in recent years so it does surprise me a bit that they've let these instances go.

  18. They have apparently hidden behind the fact that the Spammers 'took immediate action' against their fans involved in the chanting. That amounts to precisely....... One fan banned for life!!! He made a lot of noise on his own!!!!

I agree that the FA think they would be making a road for their own back if they set a precedent against a 'lesser' club, that would have to then be followed up against a more powerful opponent. However, in the Spammers case, don't underestimate the influence they have at the FA and in the BBC and the London media generally.

For some reason I got neg repped by KingOssie84 with the charming comment "UTTER ****" for this post.

Apparently it likes racism in its football.

I got the exact same comment when he gave me neg rep - at the same time adding the charming comment to the thread

    Noel Coward he ain't!

I really don't get the point of Ossie. His stock response to anything is "**** off" so the comment he left with you is him being conversational. He seems constantly angry at everything - mainly because the ways of this world generally confuse him - and he lashes out all the time. Was only recently I chided him cause every comment he made ended with <laugh> even when there was nothing remotely funny about what he says and since then he has started to add <steam> or <doh> to his repertoire. He doesn't like being called knucle dragger though, even though it seems apt to me.
