Confusing article. Who finished bottom? Are they not also being demoted? So demotion is based on "quality of staff and facilities", not "quality of football and results"?
Yeah have to say i couldnt quite work out what there decision to demote Doncaster was based on, rediculous.
Basically City fit the FA's commercial plan. Doncaster dont. Doncaster are one of the oldest womens sides in the game yet simply because they are not billionaires like City they are going to be replaced by them. City were placed in division 2 last season and finished midtable...... nowhere near promotion.

First of all I mention Doncaster plenty of times an explained briefly why they made the decision. I could of said they have done it for money but why not just state the real reason. If anything it will help Doncasters cause as most people dont like the money clubs. Petition link added though

That and their financial performance. It's definitely not based on football, as they've been relegated after only playing one game this season. Seems to me like this would be like the FA stating in August 2010 that Liverpool's then owners were ****s who were embarrassing to football by not paying their debts, and therefore Liverpool would play in the Championship for the 11/12 season. It may well be that they're just trying to pick and choose the clubs they want to see in their new super league on the basis of who will be more appealing, and City are a bigger name than Doncaster.
