So who do you want to win and why? Manure for me, not for the manager in the slightest (don't think he has a clue) but just think they deserve it over Palace. Palace have been **** for the second half of the season so hope they win naff all.
Can you imagine Pardew winning the cup the year Newcastle goes down? Oh, haway Palace, just for the laugh.
Bit of a tricky one for me, I used to hate United but now I'm fairly indifferent to them, I can't stand Pardew but I almost always support the underdog. On balance...I dunno. I'll probably find out who I want to win when it kicks off.
Can`t decide. I quite like the idea of the mags sacking a manager who then relegates them. Then hounding out a manager who goes on to win the FA cup. Certainly some magbaiting to be had there. On the other hand I don`t much care for the slimy Pardew.
Palace guaranteed Europe already. Anything can happen under Louis Van Gaal, hopefully this'll be his last team sheet, no surprises please.
I didn't think the runners up went into Europe? May well be wrong but i thought it would be Southampton if Man u win the cup?
The winners of the FA Cup qualify for the 2016/17 Europa League group stage - unless they have already qualified for Europe through other means. That means that while Crystal Palace would take up that place if victorious at Wembley, Manchester United - should they secure European football with their league position - could win the cup and pass on a European spot to the next highest finisher in the Premier League who has not qualified for Europe.
I was under the impression that it was the FA Cup runners up who got the place if the FA Cup winners were already in Europe, that's how it used to be. Just read though and confirmed, if we win the FA Cup, the place would be awarded to West Ham in 7th place, as Southampton are already guaranteed to be in the Europa League 3rd qualifying round for finishing 6th in the league. The only way Palace can get in is if they win the FA Cup, so we have West Ham behind us... after they ****ed up our chances at 4th... well that softens the blow if we lose!
Would nearly always go for the most Northerly team but I could go along with that for a heary chuckle. I do however expect Man U to win comfortably. Its Rooneys playground.
you can actually see that happening, never liked West Ham and never will. Remember when they went to Newcastle and someone chucked a petrol bomb or something into their supporters.
Michael Carrick also looking to 'Complete the set' this weekend. Obviously that Mickey Mouse ****e the bindippers screwed up last night doesn't count.
