If we manage to get to Wembley this season, it'll be more likely to be in the Play-Off Final than the FA Cup.
I just feel that the bunch of players we have now are playing within themselves and have the maturity the tenacity and the resolve needed to progress in the competition. They also have the pedigree to compete with any team as equals.
No.... Concentrate on the league...and next year we could consolidate our position in the prem and then win the FA cup Who am I kidding One match at a time. The league is the priority
The league has to be a priorty but a cup run would be great, feel we could match any lower half prem side away from home with the current side we have and would really fancy our chances against anyone at home..... Those of us old enough can remember the 73 cup run that came to a juddering halt at home to Leicester in the quarter finals, felt the cup was ours for the taking that year. The 82 run was more unlikely as we were underdogs most of the time although we had a really good side.... So yes, lets give it a go.....
Win the FA Cup this season? We would need to be very lucky in the fixtures for the 3rd & 4th rounds as we are likely ro "rest" the majority of our team for those games.
