If Bristol City beat Tamworth, they will bank £117,000 - £18,000 for beating Dag & Red, £27,000 for beating Tamworth & £72,000 in TV revenue

We really cant afford to lose now, even though everyone in the country will be supporting Tamworth. Can't lose on TV to these lot saying that it now has all the makings for a FA cup shock!

As soon as the draw was made it was inevitable that it would be on TV

Is it £72,000 for each club or shared between both?

Wow, is that it?! That's shockingly bad. It'd be a lot of money for a club like us, but for Premier League teams I doubt it'd cover their wages for a week.

Yeah but the chance to play in Europe make it worthwhile for them

It is cumulative - so if we win against Tamworth our prize money would be £18k + £27K = £45K

So a Prem Club winning it would get just under £3.4m in prize money

Portsmouth got to the final didn't they a few years back, but it didn't do them any good. Just saying - of course I would be happy getting through to 3rd round :)

On a footballing level, I think we have nothing much to worry about, because we are finally functioning as a team (after this ride into hell).

Its amusing to suddenly note that everyone on here has turned into an accountant though. I mean, I can understand why and if we do need to sell JET in Jan I think it will impact the spirit of this club in a nasty way.

If SL still gives a XXXX I would suggest he bites the bullet and hangs on to JET at least until the end of season.
A 50 million deficit would be nothing like as embarrassing as running your club down into the 4th tier or beyond.
How could you look Abramovich in the face with that on your record ?
