I don't believe this. I nodded off at about 4:50 with other results coming in on SSN. Never imagined Stockport would equalise. So now we have to do this all over again at Edgeley Park? The Club should pay for the tickets and all travelling expenses of any Charlton fans willing to go to support the team at that game.
Charlton have a 3rd round FA Cup tie at the Valley against... the mighty Walsall If that's not incentive enough to cane Stockport in their own back yard on Dec 7th I don't know what is.
Technically both winable (and loseable) games. Personally I'd love to see a good cup run, but after the home game against Stockport, I'm not sure if we aren't the underdogs for the replay.
If we were having anything resembling a half decent season fans would be looking at this as virtually a bye to the 4th round. However, we couldn't do Stockport at the Valley, and I agree we are just as likely to slip up away next week.
