    Birmingham vs Bristol Rovers

Any preference of whom we'll be playing in the next round ? .Myself Rovers would be my choice ,not for any reason other than
1/ it means Bham were beaten. <party>
    2/ A shorter journey to travel .
3/ possibly an easier game ,considering the lack of strength in the squad at the moment ,a n opportunity to
play a couple of the fringe youngsters

I would actually love a trip to Bristol Rovers even if they were the stronger side of the 2.

I reckon it'd be a cracking atmosphere, home and away ends would sell out.

Well as predicted brum it is then, It wont be easy but we should win if we take the game seriously which we better had. They had the measure of us last time good and proper so we had better be 100% up for it or they will do it again...

    Surely not!!
Additional games will add to the injury list and it's not much of a cup anyway (not what it used to be). We need to lose and concentrate on the league and we need to lose against Napoli - play the reserves.<whistle><whistle><whistle>

Laudrup will play his strongest team after us dumping Manu, so I hope we put out a very strong team against Brum and bury the blighters, they have had far too much of an easy time against us over the years, like to see us get stuck into them good and proper!..............<ok>

What are everyones feelings towards the FA Cup ? If we were to win it - which let's face it would be amazing for a club like ours, then we would end up in Europa league again next season....and whilst I love the fact we are playing European football, there are many that feel it's ruining our bread and butter PL status.
I also seem to remember reading somewhere that in the 2015 season, the winners of the Europa League gain Champions League entry for the following season....that's got to be a huge incentive to have a go at the Europa League isn't it ?
I must admit though - I think I liked the Cup Winners Cup better than the Europa League. I'm happy for the Europa League to be only for teams who finish in the relevant qualifying places in their respective leagues a la old UEFA cup.

I hope ML gives the FA cup a really good try. We should win at Brum and then who knows where we could get to. Got a feeling that Man City are targeting everything this season with the squad depth they have.

Swans v Cardiff in the Semi final would be nice - doubt we will get that far though.

You've got to have a crack at all competitions surely. If you just concentrate on the league and discard everything else then what's the point? You have to go for glory and try and hit the heights. We won a cup because we tried! I'd rather finish a few places lower and enjoy some cup excitement. Let's face it, we aren't getting relegated, so let's enjoy it :)

Ticket bought , scarf ironed , Dr Martens polished , and off we jolly well go . As posted why put the effort in v Utd to get knocked out in the next round ,What will be will be so give it our best shot ,,who knows 3 visits to Wembley could bring more silverware ,more than some have of done .<whistle>
