Been a long time, but who do we want out of the hat next. I know we are not through, but a kind incentive could just be the ticket to inspire a win against Pompey. I would like Brentford (should they get through and we get through at home).
Home v Wimbledon or Doncaster. No game will be a pushover but if the draw opens up for us we have to take our chance...
Just avoid Man City would do me fine, then a nice home game against Brentford or W**k Scumpards Derby County
I'll be over that weekend, so I am hoping for a home draw or we lose to Pompey so that I can watch us beat Massive.
We had them in the 5th round about 25 years ago, Clive Wilson did them with a last minute penalty, they weren't happy bunnies at the end...
Newport away but then I probably wouldn’t get a ticket. We have Boro away the week after so it would be Boro away. I’d do the cup game but not the league and we would at least get plenty of tickets.
That will be the problem for me now. Newport away wouldn't give us many tickets and it would go to ST holders first. That would be a gutter but that's life.
The fifth round What the ****s the fifth round Don't we automatically qualify for Europe I want Barcelona
Are we getting a little ahead of ourselves, no doubt Woopert is asking his lot the same question!!!!!!! Anyway my tuppence worth, assuming we win the replay Donny, Newport or Wimbledon at HQ would give us a great chance of a Quarter Final spot. Failing that then those bollox's from the Kings Road at HQ on the telly box so we can make a nice bit of dosh out of the game.......
This might affect some of the thinking on a wish list of opponents...... Prize money For beating Massive in 3rd Round we picked up £135000. If we beat Pompey in replay we pick up £180000. Win a 5th round tie and we pick up £360000. Not huge money but in our financial state this would be rather welcome funds.......
Me too. I booked a flight for the Leeds game not realising it was F.A. Cup 5th round day. If, we win the replay, I will be happy to play anybody at home.
You also get 50% of the gate money. So you want United away full house full price tickets please. None of this kids and geriatrics for nothing everyone else a tenner rubbish.
The only trouble is you have to sit through all the dross that is the One Show before the draw, BBC bleeding it dry for an audience...
