It is Leicester v Chelsea - one of the worst possible draws for us as they don't really have hope of winning anything else so will concentrate on this.

Hopefully we will get our act together by then - Morgan's return should help that.

On our day we can beat anyone. We played Chelsea off their own park a few weeks back

    Tough but very winnable

If the ‘big 4’ left in, if we were to draw one we are best off with chelsea and at home. They’ve been poor recently, at least it’s not Man City or Man U who I think we’d really struggle Home or away or Spurs away. The bigger disappointment for me I’d that all four of the above have been kept apart again which given how often it happens seems a bit more than co-incidence. What it does do, is makes it increasingly likely that 7th Place will be Europa league

Relatively pleased. Obviously would have preferred to have got a ‘lesser’ team but any team at home that isn’t Man City is a good draw at this stage.

Good team, yes, but we’ll have to beat equal/better to win the competition and a home draw is always favourable.

    It’s only 1 leg now, isn’t it?

Has it always been the case? I can’t remember whether there’s been replays before but they seem to be mentioning it like it’s new

No started last season with no replays from QF's onwards. They'll be gone complete soon imo which is a shame.

Yeah both semis are at Wembley.

Hmm right, I agree that’s where it’s heading as where do you begin to differentiate. In the past (before my time) I believe they had replays in the final. It’s so important to lower league clubs so if they are scrapped because it’s too many games for the premier league clubs who don’t even give it a **** it’ll take the piss. I guess when it’s all premier sides left in it is ok.

I'd love to still have replays in the semis and final even though like you it's before my time.

I'd prefer the Semis to be at Old Trafford and say the Emirates too.

Yeah semis should be away from Wembley definitely.
I’ll admit as a premier league club the replays are an inconvenience but with fans of us or you, we can remember where our clubs have been and realise the importance whereas the clubs who push for things like replays to be scrapped don’t seem to realise football exists outside of their top 6 bubble

It'd be class if there was a few upsets and half of the big 4 sides didn't make the semis.

I think sadly both Manchester clubs will win being at home to yourselves and Brighton. We have a good chance with Chelsea and Wednesday or Swansea is a tough one for Spurs. Compared to the draws they’ve had so far Wednesday are practically Barcelona. Could be a divorce in the @remembercolinlee household if that was the fixture though

I was too young aswell. I didnt get into football until 2000. We had just beat Tranmere 2-1 in the Worthington cup final. Hearing that on the radio is my first real Leicester memory

I remember Liverpool and Arsenal needing a third replay in the 1980 semi final, that was played at Highfield Road, Coventry! How times have changed.

... I went to games at Filbo that were at least double replays (all at Filbo) for Leeds v Ipswich and Sheff Wednesday v Arsenal (Wednesday had 3/4s of the ground, I kid you not) ...
