The Good news is that given us and our record, the whole country will be hoping for an upset and a Charlton win. I was back for the Truro game a few years back. All the noise from Truro, and a win for us. I'm vaguely expecting the same today. Provided we put enough quality out to score. 3-1 Charlton
Well done the Coalville fans. Gave the game a bit of atmosphere, wouldn't have begrudged them a second.
Coalville brought 1670 lower west was packed but quiet, lower north half full. Trains home nice and quiet, the away fans all booked coaches because of the planned rail strike. Campbell gave their FB nightmares, and Mitchell at CB had the most confident debut I've seen from a youngster. Henry was disappointing, McGrandles was poor, JF-C was class when he came on. Loved Chuks's goal but he still looked knackered after his 20 minute cameo.
A good win against a team that did themselves (and their noisy fans) proud. I liked that we showed the competition and Coalville a bit of respect by putting out the first team (I actually thought I'd opened the Ipswich thread by mistake when I saw the starting line up). Maybe if previous managers had done that, the crowd would have been a bit higher, although apathy has crept in. I didn't see the game as it was audio only, so it was radio coverage, but sounded a good match.
