Wonder if Sheff Utd fans will be as bothered? A lot of our fans seem to get upset at the slightest thing. Surely there won't be enough interest nationwide to put it on the main ITV Channel and anyone interested in the game will either been at wembley or have watched it on BT Sport at home or down the pub.

Well I'm bothered. Not going to Wembley, haven't got BT and unable to go to a pub. It would have been nice to watch it live on the tv and not edited highlights.

Yes that's the best they can do. They only have the rights to show 1 of the 2 semi-finals in full.

I'm really hoping that the BBC add the goals onto the end of MOTD like they used to if I remember correctly.

It's about time that they have control over the F.A. Cup, it's been poorly distributed for years now. One of the main reasons it's losing it's appeal. I mean, what's likely to be a 15 minute slot on Sunday night on ITV4? No neutral fans will watch.

It's an hour long show at 9pm. As that's 2 1/2-3 hours after the game finishes (depending on ET/pens), and we're the only game on it, other than the fact it's on ITV4 rather than ITV1 I don't think there can be much complaint about it. The other game (which alright they're showing live the night before) the highlights programme is 45 minutes, and is on at 11:45pm so it's in direct competition with the end of MOTD and the start of FLS.

What's more amusing is that ITV are currently advertising Britains Got Talent as starting at 7.15pm on Saturday, straight after the Arsenal game. If it goes to extra-time is it left to Simon Cowell and David Walliams to decide whether either of them deserve to go through, because if people are tuning in at 7.15 expecting to see BGT and get the second half of extra time in that game instead twitter is going to be broken.

I ****ing hope the Arsenal v Wigan game goes to extra time and the longest penalty shoot out ever, Cowell and his **** ****ing programmes need banishing to the depths of ITV4 in the 4:30am slot.

Yes. Thank heavens that the BBC take over from next season alongside BT sport. Bye Bye Adrian and co.

Doesn't the FA Cup go to a replay or have they changed the rules for this season?

As far as I know there haven't been replays for the semi-finals since (at least as long ago as) they started playing them at Wembley.

Nope, the semi finals go to extra time and penalties.

I would've thought the recent 'penalty takers for Wembley' thread might have given it away...

How **** would it be if the semi final had a replay at wembley

There'd probably be about 49 people at said replay

My grandad has been taken into Hull Royal... it's annoying because he now won't be able to see the game.

    Don't even know if they'll have ITV4?

If they've got TV then they'll have to have it. There's no analogue transmissions any more so they've got to have digital/satellite, and ITV4 is a free to air channel so it's available through every provider including freeview and freesat.
