Woking's league game that they have had to postpone was at home to Hemel!

Anyone remember the last time we drew non-league? I remember Maidstone in about 86/87 (guessing a bit) but can’t remember another.

Ashford Town (the Kent one) in 1996 - the SGB got a second half hatrick in a 5-0 win.

Those were both home ties - when was the last away one?

Before that and the Maidstone one, it was Harlow Town. Cracking match. I remember being allowed to stay up and watch Match of the Day. It was the first time I’d seen a game I'd been at on the telly, I think. I was indignantly pointing out the bits they’d missed out! I think there are highlights on Youtube. I used to have the whole broadcast on audio cassette, recorded as the microphone was pressed tightly against the telly. Happy days. I listened to that so often, I can still remember bits. “A goal may have been given, and it has!” Then just a variety of Watford players’ names, said in high-pitched Motlish as they scored, “Patching!” “Poskett!”...
The lad with a beard (?) was MacKenzie, I think, for Harlow. Good player. We gave them a guard of honour off the pitch - first time I’d ever seen that.

No, especially as the Man U game isn’t exactly a romantic cup tie. If it was at Reading, yes, at Old Trafford? No.

It might be more attractive to TV if Reading were near the top of the Championship.

    2pm.....

There was an article in their local paper bemoaning the fact they didn't get a bigger tie - now fine if you talk about the big Premier league teams but it also included QPR and Middlesbrough!
