Swansea-Arsenal, which could well by a League Cup semi too, bet the Gunners aren't relishing that one.
Crawley v Reading Swansea v Arsenal Southampton v Chelsea Peterborough Utd v Norwich City! Always dreamed of seeing this as a competitive fixture but it never happened for me Are the highlights for me
This must be the only time I will be rooting for the Binners- 1: to get one over he who must not be named & 2: so hopefully we can get an East Anglian Derby again after a couple of years without them.
You lot happy with Posh away? You'll probably put out a second string side which should be enough but you never know... Then again, would it really bother you to be "giant killed" by Posh, allowing you to concentrate on your Prem campaign? I'd go for the latter, myself...
Hampy, is it just me or is this odd? You come on here to wum and bang on about our lack of history yet you have openly admitted you actually know not too much about our history. How does that work then? Maybe next year when they do the League Cup draw they will drop in that you lot have never managed to make that competition final yet
Very much a 2nd string team, of that I have no doubt. In a way I am pleased I can't go to it, I would feel robbed watching the reserves on a full price ticket.
Thai... I don't know much about individual Norwich players or managers before I was about 5 or 6, i can only suggest thats because they were unremarkable. I know a fair bit of course about your history in a broader sense. When i was a kid I loved reading about the history of football, looking through old league tables and records and books. The Men Who Made The Town was one volume, in particular, which goes into some depth about East Anglian football, because of course much of our history was interlinked
I will be making the journey up to posh, good tie and a local derby to boot! Don't care if reserves are put out, they didn't do too bad against spurs in the league cup
