Already read in a few places that a draw was the worst possible result causing a unwanted extra fixture but I disagree. With us making 11 changes it shouldn't effect the first team, and I would much rather be in the hat than suffer a morale hurting defeat to a league 1 side. The more chance we get to play and look at the young guys the better.

Agree, don't much care how we do but another game for the up and comings to get some more first team experience is all good.

Like that - Forest or Preston. Worth having.

Think the youth team/reserves would have to improve to beat those teams. You'd fancy our first team to get a result though. It all depends on if we're still in a relegation scrap.

True. And I think we will still be in a relegation scrap.

Haven't checked but I'm assuming that if we do get through the next round won't be a case of two games in three days so we may well play a slightly stronger team, plus it will be at home on a pitch that doesn't resemble a swimming pool.

If we win the replay, we'd play on the 15/16 Feb. If that does happen, it'd be our 7th game in 21 days. Intense.
