....this is our mid-season weekend off...always has been, and always will be So what do you mean ...how what works? No idea what you are talking about facto
QPR are all the proof you need that these mid-winter breaks don't work. We've been trialling them for nearly 20 years without any discernible improvement.
Just heard Shrewsbury's manager on MOTD......... 'I told my players that if they are lucky they will get to play in 13 or 14 FA cups. You should savour every moment.'
Bloke in the pub was winding me up and said you play three games after and if you win them they let you play at Wembley?
http://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/fir...-did-enough-to-win-but-look-forward-to-replay Anyone see Caulkers 3x hand ball, that the ref missed in yesterdays match. He is one lucky player But never for us!
Carlisle v Everton this afternoon at 1.30 and Brandon Comley is making his debut upfront on loan at Carlisle, in at the deep end, no pun intended...
Didn't watch the game, but turned it on just as Comley was subbed. He got a big reception, so seems like he had a good game.
He put in some good tackles and had an energetic performance, was one of their better players but Carlisle were totally outclassed and you felt Everton were barely breaking sweat. Comley should benefit from a run of games at League Two level...
I was just thinking it would be the perfect size for us and agree slightly higher stands for atmosphere would be ideal. Most games they play it's only half-full as the top tier is only used for the bigger games like today's...
Reminded me of Wolfsburg's stadium, which is also 30,000, but with very steep stands. Chelsea looked very good against very open opposition today. Hiddink is a top coach.
Just turned on for the highlights of Chelsea and waiting for the draw. I guess we can only dream of being involved in the draw at this stage...years have taught me to stop hoping.
I rest my case, they dodge all the bullets and get a home draw against Hull... Chelsea v City the pick...
